Specs:

• Type: 35 mm compact point‑and‑shoot camera with autofocus and fully automatic (programmed) exposure. Aimed at beginners and casual photographers, released in 1988. 

• Lens: Fixed 35 mm lens, maximum aperture f/3.5 (4 elements in 3 groups). 

• Focus: Active autofocus system, with a minimum focusing distance of approximately 0.65 m. Includes focus memory (~30 s to remember focus). 

• Shutter & Exposure: Programmed electronic shutter; exposure set automatically via CdS light meter. Manual exposure not available. 

• ISO Range: Supports DX-coded films (ISO 100, 200, and 400). Defaults to ISO 100 if DX not detected. 

• Flash: Built-in flash with a range up to ~10 m; recycling time around 3.5 seconds. 

• Self-Timer: 10-second self-timer with pre-flash or indicator light. Also offers a double self-timer mode (two consecutive shots). 

• Viewfinder: Reverse-Galilean viewfinder, bright-frame with roughly 83% frame coverage and 0.46× magnification, includes autofocus confirmation and parallax markers. 

• Film Handling: Motorized film loading, automatic advance (approx. 1 s per frame), and automatic rewind. Includes film-check window, tripod socket, and frame counter. 

• Power: Accepts either one 3 V CR123A lithium battery or two 1.5 V AA batteries. 

• Dimensions & Weight: Approximately 133 × 71 × 49 mm; weighs around 250 g (excluding batteries). 

• Other Notes: Successor to the Nikon RF; (RF does not stand for rangefinder). Quasi-identical model RD2 includes a date-imprinting function. 

Condition:
Fully tested and working. Lens, autofocus, exposure, flash, motorized film advance and rewind, self‑timer, and viewfinder are all functioning properly. Light cosmetic wear consistent with normal use.
